The Sensex is trading at 17472, down 147 points from its previous close, and the Nifty is at 5306, down 39 points. The CNX Midcap index is down 0.3% and the BSE Smallcapindex is down 0.1%. The market breadth is negative with advances at 561 against declines of 853 on the NSE.
