After a gap-up start, the market is trading with a positive bias and holding on to its opening gains. Sensex is trading at 17466, up 74 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 5296, up 20 points. CNX Midcap index is up 0.7% and BSE Smallcap index is up 0.6%. The market breadth is positive with advances at 864 against declines of 358 on the NSE.
